The More Project branded Timeless Overshirt

Become the canvas

The More Project was born with the ambition of making gendermore fashion accessible to everyone. Inclusive and sustainably committed, The More Project offers a creative wardrobe for free spirits.

The More Project allows everyone to distinguish themselves through unique pieces from limited edition collections, imagined in collaboration with committed emerging and established artists.

The garment then becomes a real means of expression, a poetic and artistic weapon endowed with emotional durability. Beyond fashion, The More Project is a platform for awareness, exchange and sharing around unifying values.

Why The More Project?

Gendermore

The More Project’s product has the goal of making truly androgynous garments accessible to all, as much in terms of designs as in terms of prices, in order to “educate” the people on how gender in fashion is volatile and referring to fashion codes that are part of the past.

We observe today in the androgynous ready-to-wear a target that is often considered “elitist”, coming with significant prices which consequently closes all potential to let the people know of the moral values linked to the question of gender in fashion.

On the other hand, in the more standardised and broader market of sustainable ready-to-wear, the aesthetic effort is often left aside for the environmental effort.

The More Project is bringing something, that we hope is new to you, which is the possibility to learn about yourself and explore new cuts in fashion, in a sustainable way. To do so, The More Project defines itself as platform of promotion for established and emerging artists, using the product as a canvas to wear with exclusive and limited artworks.

Artistic promotion

We believe that the most efficient way to convey the message is emotional durability, and that is always more easily achieved with artistic expression.

That is why it is for us an essential pillar to work in collaboration with emerging and established artists throughout all the collections, and to give them “carte blanche” and a full platform where they can express themselves, in order to support the values of The More Project.

Each drop consists of 3 collaborations with 3 different artists. We aim at releasing 3 drops per year (some including new products as well), meaning that The More Project gives the spotlight to 9 artists per year.

Proximity and respect in the confection

We want you to possess a product made by The More Project with full awareness of its provenance and its way of being done, as we strongly believe that today, more than ever, full transparency is a necessity for conscious shopping.

That is why we source our fabric in France, near the city of Lyon, in a craftsman workshop weaving mixes of organic fabrics that are all ecologically certified. The fabric of the TMP overshirt for instance, has a OEKO TEX Standard 100 certification, which is considered as one of the world’s best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances.

This raw material is then sent to our confection workshop in Portugal in the region of Braga near Porto, where a strong line is working in the best conditions (we were able to exchange with different workers there).

The printing job is performed by another workshop located in the same region, in which a narrower team of dedicated and lovely humans take care of giving life to the Artists’ work.

The packaging is then made in France in Paris.

“Beyond fashion, The More Project is a platform for awareness, exchange and sharing around unifying values.”
